Cut a Plastic Water Bottle and Fill it with Ice Cream

Who thinks in the summer heat of standing by the oven all day in order to eat cake in the evening? Maybe just the obsessed kitchen fairies? But don’t grieve either when you have a birthday in the summer , because this insanely strawberry, slightly lemon-flavored ice cream cake will satisfy every craving for cake or birthday cake as well. Beautiful, delicious and if you look anywhere, strawberries in all quantities! Just you need a few simple ingredients and a plastic water bottle.

This colorful ice cream cake requires nothing special, just whipping cream and cream cheese (the people who don’t use dairy products could use coconut milk and cream), sweetener, tiny lemon zest, lemon juice and plenty of strawberries. Oh, and let’s don’t forget the plastic water bottle. If the bottle has a ribbed pattern, your ice cream cake will be even more beautiful. Just cut it in half lengthwise as instructed in the video, then flip the two halves of the bottles together and your cake mould is ready to fill.

Homemade ice cream has other benefits as well. You put in whatever you want, it contains real ingredients and nothing artificial flavors, colorants, or preservatives. Sugar? No! Of course, there is no sugar in it !!! Just real fruit. 

Fresh strawberries are very high in water, so their total carb content is very low – fewer than 8 grams of carbs per 100 grams (3.5 ounces). The net digestible carb content is fewer than 6 grams in the same serving size.  Therefore, you can eat as many strawberries as you want.

You can also do a miracle with a plastic bottle, like this Triple Strawberry Ice Cream Cake. You don’t have to buy expensive silicone cake molds. This is also one way of recycling. You can use the halved bottle over and over again for your next ice cream cake as follows:


Cut the plastic water bottle as shown in the video.


Place the two halves of the bottle together and glue them together with tape.


Cut strawberries into small cubes.


Start boiling 2/3 of the strawberries with sweetener.


Crush the strawberries with a mixer.


Add the remaining 1/3 of strawberries and sweetener to taste more. Bring to a boil for a few minutes.


Grate half a lemon zest, unscrew the juice into a bowl and add sweetener.


Add cream cheese and mix well together.


Add a little whipping cream and mix well.


Add coconut oil and mix more.


Beat the cream with the sweetener and a few drops of lemon juice into a hard foam.


Add the whipped cream to the cream cheese mixture and mix them, then put in the freezer for an hour.


After an hour take the cream mixture out of the freezer and stir.


Layer the ice cream and strawberry sauce into ice cream molds and swirl, then put back in the freezer for 1-2 hours.


Roast chopped walnuts.


Decorate with melted chocolate,


Decorate with strawberry sauce and roasted walnuts.


Take the ice cream out of the freezer 20 minutes earlier before eating. Cut slices and pour more strawberry sauce on it.
